I'm looking to make some bits for my car, half hood , tonneau cover, bag etc , but not 100% sure on the fabric to use, need something light weight, strong , with a little stretch to it, was looking at codura would that be to heavy?
If you aren't already aware of them ask Woolies Trim linky

Neoprene is my current plan for when i get to that point.
I have a mohair half hood and find it so comfortable when driving, I seldom take it off. The T7 heater makes a big difference too. I'm still at the thinking/trying stage with the sidescreens. So far tried ally and fibreglass ones which are ok, but don't stow away easily. So now going to have a go at vinyl ones that can fold and go in the 'boot'.

One of the other GBS guys made his own Tonneau and used a 1000 denier fabric (available from Pro Fabrics as above):

He seems to rate it quite highly and it's a material I am going to purchase soon for my own cover on my Zero.
You can get it for around £6-10 per meter of a 60" wide roll...not too bad value for money I reckon.
Thanks lads , spot on as usual
I'll keep yer posted if it turns out as good as Richards

No this was plain fabric, similar to kite material but very strong
