screen demist?

now my sva is but a distant memory i am thinking of changing from an aeroscreen to a full windscreen .my question is ,is there any legal requirement for me to fit a demist /blower system? ive looked on the mot site and cant see any mention of it.so do i need one? i realise this has probably been done a 100 times befor but please any help advise appreciated.

For SVA you need demist and wipers... no SVA no matter, 'sup to you!

You need to have a demist on a screen for a SVA test so probably need one for mot as well, not 100% sure though

You don't need a demister for the M.O.T.

Nope...just need working wipers and washer jets.

When I rewired last year, heater / demister was one of the things that got left off due to time constraints and a need to get an MOT for Le Mans.
