I doubt such a thing exists but I need to source a double curvature laminated windscreen that will fit the proposed body width so I wondered if there is a chart with screen dimensions. Most modern cars are very wide so their screens wouldn't be suitable. But the 2000 model Nissan Micra is quite narrow and a screen from that would fit but it would be interesting to have a list of possibles.

Worth talking to one or two of the windscreen fitting companies (Autoglass etc)?

They may have access to lists of what screens fit what vehicles. Car manufacturers will probably do their best to get some parts commonality across their models (they certainly do with many other parts). No idea how helpful (or otherwise) such companies may be, but a phone call can't hurt.

Good advice Nick, thank you. I've just spoken to our local firm and he was really helpful. The 2000 model Fiesta is not far off the mark and electrically heated too. Now that is a bonus.

Heated windscreens are definitely nice to have. SWMBOs previous car had one and it helped with de-cing and de-misting the screen. We had the car towards the end of it's days, but it had started life as a dealer demo car so had a few options added to it (heated front seats and wing mirrors as well).

And of course I'll not need to fit demisting ducts.

Bonus

Just wire in a switch to control it = job done = much tidier and more effective

Other options could be:
Citroen Ax (used on Murtaya)
Fiat 126 (used on Midas Bronze/Gold)
Fiat Cinquecento (used on Gtm Libra)
Nissan Micra k10 (similar size to Ax/ cinquecento)

Next challenge is to get flat side glass to work (right inclination) in the available width or find suitable donor with curved side glass.
