I will need to store my car outdoors (off the road) for a few months. Can anyone recomend a cover?

There was some one on here that mad a wood box that the car could be pushed into it was made of pallets and had a door on one end then covered with a
green tarpaulin to keep the water out and make it look better

I have a Coverdale Platinum for an MX5 - kind of lycra 3 layer cover, feels very nice, tight (tailored) fit to the body - approx £170
&
a Stormforce cover for another car. 4 layer. Much looser fit (still tailored fit but not stretchy skin tight) but much thicker / heavier duty
material. Also around £150-£170
Both covers worked well through last winter but I don't think they would be great long term solutions. They both have tie down loops and come in
a nice storage bag.
The Coverdale is an excellent fit, good in the wind but does seem to trap a bit of moisture underneath.
The Stormforce is a bit baggy but I think this might help keep it 'dryer' underneath as it gets a bit more air circulation and flaps around
a bit to shed the water. A was always worried about it getting ripped off in the wind but never had a problem.
Both cars now kept indoors so can't really comment on longevity.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Tilly
