Hi everyone,

Are there any companies offering a cutting service that you have used. I am not into CAD (except Cardboard Aided Design, thanks Binky).

So are there any companies that would cut me a part, even if I only have a paper/card template? Or, if I could get some design software, make me one or two parts out of aluminium.

Did a bit of Googling, but only seemed to find companies offering large quantity fulfilment etc

I have used a company call SORB

They supply laser cut sheet.

I found them very helpful on the phone as well.

I use cad so it is easy for me to use their on line service.

But I suspect if you supplied them a good dimensioned drawing they would help.

It may be a good idea to post your drawing on here. Someone may well do a cad file for you.

Locost builders are often a very helpful bunch.
