ill tell you what im going to do with my grille.................
get some aluminium honeycomb mesh, and cut a stencil out of card with the required logo, and spray black paint through the stencil - will get a similar look to tennis rackets.....
worth a shot?

I made a template of the inside of the nosecone and had a grill made up to the template and had stainless 7R mounted on cross bars then put black mesh behind it. After the SVA of course

I'd rather not put a 7 in the nose as its like pretending ive got something I havn't. I'd much rather show the would I had an MK than pretent I have a Lotus/Caterham.

Absolutely. Why not be proud of the car you have built/made, with it's own identity?

It does annoy me when this vehicle type/genre is refered to as 'LSIS' (Lotus Seven Inspired Sportscar) or similar. In the early days this might of been so, but nowadays most kits are far removed from anything Caterham/Lotus. Folk shoving Lotus/Caterham/7 stickers, badges and emblems all over their sportscar only serves to keep these thoughts alive, and have our own cars refered to as 'replicas' and 'copies'. Sorry, but most kits and indeed home made cars deserve far more recognition than that. I'm proud my car isn't a Caterham/Lotus.
Besides, those that *know* would know straight away that it ain't a Caterham/Lotus - so why not put the saved time/effort/money into something else on the car?
Those that don't know will ask you if it's a Morgan...

Each to their own and all that of course - just my feelings and observations...
