Mine from www.s-v-c.co.uk. They ship overseas I believe.

I went for the Lolocost ones. Easy to get (for those of us living on the same half of the planet as them anyway! ) and cheap at £30 a pair IIRC.

Cheers,
James

I've just updated our website with ours - from S.V.C.. Talk to Steve - tell him Hellfire sent you! These lights are the dog's danglies... and use very little power 1.2Ah/unit.

to see what they look like in a better resolution go HERE and click on the relevant picture.

Mine are basic hella style (bought from land rover specialist). I have to be careful with the mounting holes tho (may have to fill with clear silicon). Rescued attachment rear lights 1 may05 resized.jpg

I have the same ones as Darren - I didn't bother to fill the screw holes, and nothing was said at the SVA. Might be different if they were at the front.

I've used the Landy ones too, with clear lenses and coloured bulbs

I just put some blue-tak in the screw holes for SVA and coloured it black with a marker pen.

Last time i was behind a modern bus I noticed it had some trick twin round LED lights. Intend to look into it (cos it's a terrible shame locosters dont use JCB lihts any more!). They might actually be enormous when you get up close or something...

i considered them too, but up close, they are pretty mahoosive, the double decker ones i measured were about 4 1/2 inches. i got the svc ones instead, and stuck them in the twin housings. (you need the housings without the internal brackets, if they're to go nicely on an indy though.

But with a suitable resistor could be easily adapted to suit.
