I was wondering if anyone has cretated a fully enclosed body for the locosts chassis? Something different than the lotus 11 body style. Thanks

Westfield did one a long long time ago

Dont remember westfield making anything other than an eleven but I could be wrong.
Of course they have just relaunched the 11 body.
WLR build a body based on an Indy chassis.

Mine will be a fully enclosed body if and when I finally get to that stage....sorry but feeling frustrated with hold ups today. I'll post pics as and when.

How about something along the lines of a Cobra crossed with a Midget then a bit of Ferrari and perhaps the Fury thrown in that pre dates all of them?.....with doors and a removable hardtop.....flip front end.....very slippy.....?
i can't post the picture as it is huge and by making it smaller it all goes pear shaped as it is copy of original 1958 brochure.......but can email if anyone fancies a peep.
I am slowly making the required changes to enable this to fit the Locost ,wheelarch extensions will be added rather than make the body wider 3 wide to suit Escort track and 6" to suit Sierra track.....bit reminiscent of works Healeys .
Cheers
Mark

I'm sure i read a while ago that the AGM WLR is based on a slightly modified MK Indy chassis. Thats a funky looking thing and i love the roll bar built into the bodywork.

Forgot about that one, though I have seen it ages ago.(Sport 2000)

Just a little bit more downforce than a seven type body.

With that body on I might be able to keep my rear wheels following my front wheels!
