Bonnet catches

Any ideas on SVA friendly method of securing the bonnet? I have fitted catches but they don't comply. The rubber ones you can buy seem way over priced. Anyone know of any cheap alternatives?
Cheers
Jon

The rubber ones are expensive, but worth it. I just remarked to my brother that they'd been worth the cash yesterday when I was taking the bonnet off for the umpteenth time in a couple of hours

For the rubber catches, try Lolocost, cheaper than most.
