Recessing lights in a bumper?
RazMan - 28/8/05 at 05:55 PM

I am going to recess some 95mm indicators into the front bumper (to keep the bodyline unspoiled) and need some ready-made 'holes' to glass in.

I've seen something similar from SVC but they are not really deep enough.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Why not make your own buck from a marg container or something? Sure you'll find something appropriate at the local supermarket. You'll prolly get some strange looks offering up your indicators to a lard tub though.

How about some brake cooling duct headers?

I was hoping that all the hard work could be done for me I suppose

A lard tub probably wouldn't need waxing though

I'm assuming you mean TOY buckets ....... or are your indicators bigger than mine?

You might laugh but you will be surprised what the pro car designer/modellers use to get a shape.....I am sure they walk round looking at shapes for future use and miss what goes on around them

So the time I spent working with sewage pipes last week wasn't wasted!
