By design do the edges of these meet SVA or do I have to try and stick edging all around it?
I bought some rubber edgeing for mini arches by with keeps coming off. Can I not bother.
Do the rear wings need edging round the wheel edge?
On mine I found the fronts need it but the rears didn't, stuck it on with superglue and I personally thing it makes is look neater too,
it's still on 1 year after passing SVA
i had some trim supplied with my Kit that was called 'concept trim'. It is only a small u section but has a bead of glue inside. Apparently
it is hard to get hold of now so if anyone knows a potential supplier id be interested.
if the trim and arch is warmed up before fitting it sticks nice and solid. Unfortunately i dont have enough so am keeping my eyes open for some
more.
Do the cycle wings have to be trimmed right round?
I'm with lee on this one. The rubber edging certainly finishes mine off nicely.
I would certainly edge them all round as it would look rather strange having all but the inboard edge trimmed.
I suspect the SVA inspector would expect all the edges to be fitted with the beading.
I have super glued mine on the inside edge to avoid getting any surplus on the outside face of the GRP.
Be warned, I accidentally got a bit of super glue on the grp and finished up frantically wet and drying the area followed by a manic polishing (it
eats into the surface of the GRP). Ok now though.

Use the herringbone pvc edge trim from www.woolies.co.uk
It's less than £2/meter and has a metal insert which stops it coming off. I used it and so have loads of others. It looks good too!

get it from m&m trim supplies. it's only £1.50 a metre, and is far more flexible than stuff other people supply.
