hmmm very nice, you seem to be some sort of metal god !
Very, very nice, but not as nice as the aston(?) in the background. Even if it's not an aston I'll have two please
It is an Aston
Do you make the nosecone in 1 piece or 2.
And how much would it cost for cycle wings and nose
[Edited on 15/3/2006 by dave1888]
Thought so. Got any going spare/ second hand?
It's not really work at all is it?
And that cannot possibly be that "Locost"
To Dave 1888
The nose cone is made in 4 bits!!
I would like to U2U with my works phone number but I can't get it to work at the moment. If you U2U me I maybe able to reply.
To ReMan
You are correct it wasn't that "Locost" but not that bad
the nose is fantastic, but am i alone in thinking the front wings are impossibly good looking!!
if i had a star trek replicator in front of me now i would make it spit out those
they're perfect, can't be bettered
So how much would you charge for a AC Cobra body to fit my MK chassis?
The polish make cobra bodies in a former MIG FIGHTER PLANT.......FOR 20 K EACH ! if my ageing memory serves me right....
Metal god very nice
Zagato when done.

Wow! I think there will be a big market for those aluminium body bits if your company has the capacity to churn them out. The nosecone on your car is
a beautiful piece of work.
Any chance of a +4 nosecone and scuttle?
I apologize for my ignorance....Four peice nose cone?
What four peices?
Top, sides, and bottom? With the fronts folding into the mouth of the nose cone? Or is it more complicated?
WONDERFUL Job!!!!
I would give my left leg below the knee to be able to do that...(Hell if I could do that I could build another one anyway)
It has to be said that it's almost criminal to take such beautiful stuff Locost racing where the odds are it will be twisted and mangled within a
couple of races
Would be very interested in knowing how much it would cost me for the same though?........
That thought went through my mind - I'd rather risk a £60 GRP nosecone than a piece of art like that.
I'd hate to bend it first time on the track!
David
trev you are the man!! i love those front wings and the nose cone is great. you put those american hotroders to shame. 10 outta 10

is it much ligher in ally than grp? just wondering the reasons behind having it in ally rather than grp on a race car..
Ned.
Hi Ned yes it is a bit lighter i think he has gone for the look aswell.
My hat's off, waaay off to you mate. That has to be some of the finest looking metal work I have seen.
Tell me it won't be painted. That would be criminal to cover up....
And I also agree about the wings. What a loverly shape. Awesome!
How many years does it take to learn a craft like that? In your case.
Just had a poke around your photo archive and see that you have one of those of your own too? I like this view very much:

Hi Steve no it will not be painted glad you like my work and my car. 18 years in the trade all the best Trev.
Does the scuttle on the Locost go back further than normal past the bend in the top rail? It looks short in the cockpit sides
Hi Pete yes it dose i think it makes the car look more in proportion regards Trev.
