Has anyone tried a stressed skin design with sandwich FRP? I have heard that Forbes Aird made an attempt once for production (not really a 7 type but still interesting). Does anyone out there have some contacts or info for me?

I believe that the people who make the Larini mid-engined Golf based kit car were making a GRP monococque Se7en a couple of years ago - I don't know how far they got with it.
I think they're called Sculptural Engineering and are near Ringwood, Hants.
