Can i have your ideas on what is the best way to secure cycle wings to the brackes, Bolts or some type of silicone adhesive, my worry is the bolts might fracture the fiberglass and i have just painted them so my thoughts are to use some form of sticcy stuff.
Can i have your expert opinions as to which way to go.

I am making up fibreglass bits for my car from scratch right now.

The 'how to' books I have show that you can sandwitch brackets between layers of fibreglass.

So, you could use some fibreglass 'patches' under the mudguard and fibreglass them in place...

btw - this is my opinion - not that or an expert!

You could bond a nut into the back of the fibreglass and put the bolt in from below the support bracket.

Hi I shaped the brackets to the underside of the arches and bonded them with a glue called 'no more nails' then let it dry .
next i fibreglassed over the brackets and glue and when that was dry I sprayed underseal all over the underside of the arches.this will hopfully stop any stonechips from underneath staring the fibreglass.
all that work and i hope the wings stay on next time I go to Le Mans!
