Anybody know which manufacturers do a +4" scuttle and windscreen?

Progress means I want to buy these things!

Thanks,

James

Mmmmmm.....buying things. You really ought to be making these you know.

How wide is the MK Indy in this area? - could be close.

Cheers

Well maybe! As I said I'm getting extremely frustrated with how behind I'm getting.
I may make the scuttle I spose (specially if someone'll let me make a template of theirs I can modify to be wider) but I don't know if I can make a professional job of the windscreen.
The screen is important to the 'look' of the car and for me it needs to be done right.

Cheers,

James

James,

I beleive the Indy is the same width as a book Locost, ie 42". It's just the height of the chassis that differs by 1".
PTM should know for definite.
Sorry that's not much help!
You could try Lolocost for the screen, they sell everything seperately so you can make it any size you like.

Marcus
PS will we see the car at any shows this year?

Yeah, I guess if they'll sell me the surround I could get glass cut somewhere but I was hoping to avoid that!

Car might be at Exeter! Wish I could give an earlier date. As long as it's done by Xmas as I have several bets with people who I see then!

Cheers,

James

For the scuttle, just a suggestion mind, you could buy one cut it across the middle and then lay up a piece to fill the gap....

the surround you can make yourself as ronn shows, it is that simple..

when you get the glass cut make sure it has the manufacturers marking showing the correct laminate etc..
