I have been searching high and low on the internet for a nice(ish) looking aluminium or stainless locking fuel filler...
The cheapest one I can find is £60...
does anyone know where I can find the "lo-cost" version?
Thanks.

the plastic ones are quite nice and much cheaper
Is there a kind of plastic generic one which will fit or do I just have to hack one off an old car?
Is it going to be SVA compliant
You can find boat fillers that are cheaper, not ali or stainless maybe but chrome or nickel. If nice(ish) or not is up to you.

Motorcycle filler caps are cheap.

Hadnt thought about bike caps....they are cheap!
What are the SVA requirements for the filler?
Thanks.

Fiat Panda/Uno, cost 50p at a scrappers, came complete with the hose and lock, I added 6 stainless countersunk set screws and is shown in the image
with B&Q transparent kitchen cabinet bump stops for the SVA - which fell off shortly afterwards

Mark,
Touble is not many of the cars at the scrappers have keys with them for the ignition let alone if its a seperate key for the fuel cap - nice work
though.
Mat what boat place did you get that cap from? and does it have the unleaded reducer in it?
Cheers
