Shiny Bits

In an attempt to reduce the under bonnet temperatures which have been melting the odd plastic part, I have bought these

Only £11.00 each, and should provide a nice low pressure area to extract hot air. I'll keep you posted

Sod it, just look in my archive under modifications

Heat rises, that's why I put mine on the top of the bonnet so that at stand still in traffic the heat would at least have somewhere to go, and at speed be sucked out ???

Little improvement but not as big a change as exhaust wrap.

This would look nice on the bonnet, and should be pretty effective.

Fairly close to me, really impressed

Why did my link work, but not the [img]?

big_wasa - 8/9/06 at 09:26 PM

Has done this to me a couple of times?

Phil. S - 8/9/06 at 09:32 PM

Right click on the picture and select 'copy image location', then use that. It should work then.

You need then your (without the spaces in them) enclosing your image location URL. The picture insertion next to the hash above the reply box does this for you.

Looks really nice Mark.
I think a few chrome 'blingy' bits with a metalic/pearl blue looks REALLY nice

BTW ,hows the paintwork holding up to reg. use?

Mark Allanson - 15/9/06 at 09:29 PM

Done nearly 6000 miles in 15 month and the car kept outside under a cover, the paint is fine except for the usual stone chipping on the rear arches and a scralpe where I was hit by a porsche 911 trying to prove a point (and failed spectacularly!).

The cooling has helped alot, the engine runs much cooler which is a relief
