Which wing mirrors?!
iscmatt - 2/2/07 at 12:47 AM

I'm sure this is one of those questions that has been asked many times BUT...

I was just after a list of what wing mirrors people have used on their cars. I'm after probably bike mirrors in black. whats best? What have you used? must be sva friendly too!

Cheers matt

sorry to go off at a tangent but did you make the screen yourself? where did you get the perspex (or whaterver the clear laccy stuyff is), and how is it mounted on the inside to the bulkhead - bent aluminium?

Fireblade mirrors for me too - SVA in 4 weeks

I went for fairly plain deigns when I changed my original mirrors recently.

SPA Formula, black, side mirrors and a Racetech centre mirror.

Be aware that the side mirrors need access to the rear of the mounting bracket for one of the adjustments. Wasn't a problem for my mounting location.

Mine were from Europa, "California" I think and about £35.

Passed SVA and I'm happy enough with them.

SVA FAIL - All OK for SVA outside but wiring needs tidying behind

Honda moped Cub70 one for SVA (W...I...D...E... field of vision, nice long stalks to get view above rear wheel arch, cheap as chips)...

Swap them for the totally pointless field-of-vision pimpy carbon bling mirrors afterwards

Thanks for the response! i have a goog idea now i'm liking the fireblade ones and i'll look in my Europa catalogue when i can find it.

Would these pass SVA? CLICKY MEE

Just thought, what exactly would fail the SVA? is it mainly the field of vision and any sharp bits? does it matter about the style and shape of the mirrors?
