My old wings where fastened with 4 cap head bolts, of course this means drilling the wings.
I don't want too drill my new ones, what have people found effective too fasten them too the wing stays ?
PU ADHESIVE,such as bodyline or tiger seal, you will not get them off though in the future, not without breaking them.

Jon, thats all we did... you have about 1 hour to get them as you like them (age of PU allowing). Old PU sets quicker!
We drilled holes into the support (AS HERE) halfway down the page, roughed up the fibreglass
and away it went. When set it's very difficult to move them.
Phil actually clipped a roadside post at Cadwell with the nearside arch... slight crack in the arch but it held on! We used TEXFLEX PU adhesive (body
panel adhesive) £6.00. HTH

I welded a strip of metal the same size as the cycle wing mount, each side of the main mount, this gives you a mounting area of about 3" x the
width of the cycle wing and drilled about 8 holes in each piece of metal, done this at both mounting points on both cycle wing brackets then had them
powder coated, then stuck the cycle wing down with sikaflex pushing the cycle wing down letting the sikaflex ooze through all the holes. job done

you can buy a stud welded to a perforated square plate, buy 4, tiger seal/sikaflex them to the underside of the arches then weld a flat plate to the
arch stay, drill that and bolt up underneath. The stud can be ground down to be level with the lowerpart of the wing stay and therfore the nut also
should not be lower than the bottom of the wing stay.
Removable and adjustable, if you weld the plate to the front of the stays for the SVA you could weld a bit more to the back afterwards and have the
cycle wings further back.

Another vote for PU adhesive here - I don't think I'll ever get my wings off
excuse me, what is pu adesive?
hellfire may you post a photo of your wings supports? You have sierra uprights, is it true?
Thankyou
I used Evo's "Serious Stuff", made no mods to the wing stays just stuck them on to 1" x 3mm strap, no drilling, and boy they will
never come of. I tried after fixing the first one, and actualy moved the suspension, wing was unmoved. HTH Ray
