An aluminium roll bar will look good and, er, that's about it. Unless of course you have access to something like aerospace 7075 tubing (unlikely and hardly locost).

Don't waste your money and time on anything that won't protect you should the worst happen.

I wrote off a TVR Cerbera (cat A) and am living proof of the benefits of a nice steel roll cage...

if you want the looks just use stainless 316 tube cheap and just as strong as steel.
