will a Caterham Seven nose cone fit the book chassis.

Yes, but it's a snug fit! The Westfield nose clones give a bit more room to fit stuff in - especially useful if you've got a tall engine.

NB: Most of the noses sold for Locosts are to the Westie dimensions, even if they're shaped slightly differently.

Just watch the height of your engine. I was given a lotus cone but it was too low for my pinto even with lowered engine mounts. In the end I went for a Luego version which is taller

probably should of said how low the caterham nose is, when mine was first built even a Xflow was a tight fit with a bike engine you've got no chance of keeping it under the bonnet!
I think the low bonnet lines looks so much better though but that's down to personal taste!
