Aeroscreens push the air up and over your head, still bloody drafty. The air is much smoother though with no buffeting from behind that you get with a full screen.

I don't have the aeroscreen from eBay, but I do have an aeroscreen.

I regularly drive round (even yesterday in the bl***y cold) with no helmet, just good glasses/goggles with no issue at all. Even at fast motorway speeds it is quite acceptable. No buffeting or direct wind.

The only downsides (which are rare cicumstances) are:
1. debris doesn't get deflected enough (hence the good glasses/goggles)

2. rain hurts like hell as there is nothing to stop it getting to you

3. strong winds do not get deflected. Last weekend with the 30mph crosswinds it felt like my face skin was flapping like a flag and I had a constant stream of tears as the glasses couldn't stop the strength of the wind and I couldn't see where I was going.

Hope that helps.
