I take it those are bike screens?
Nice idea (and giving me some now too ) looking good, although you are still progressing at an embarassing pace (for me anyway!) too

Cheers

Alex

They are bike screens and they only cost me about £40 for the pair delivered!
They are on ebay in abundance.
As to my progress, the F1-2 took me 7 years !
This time around I know more and my financial and time situation has improved.

Nice to see you motoring along with it
I'd like some on my own build, but my bonnet doesnt cover the entire, well bonnet...

I want to put some flat lexan side screens on the open chassis too.
My rails and dash are deliberately high so that hopefully I won't get buffeted by the wind.
The F1-2 suffers a bit, but after my recent bodywork changes and small lexan deflector, hopefully my journey to Detling kitcar show via the M25, will be a bit more pleasent!
I am hoping that the Motaliera will enable me to drive without a crash helmet (with goggles/glasses) as the screens are a lot higher.

Now why do I think that's going to be really tasty when finished?
Like the idea of the bubbles. What is the measurement front to back please?
Re- the no helmet/low screen idea IIRC about 5-8 years ago Renault did an open sportscar which had a minimal, double layer screen which shot the windflow through a venturi and then up & over the driver's head - seemed like another cunning plan!
Cheers, Pewe

Pewe I'll have to get back to you with the measurements.
