Hi Guys.
Sorry if this has been covered before, but done a search and canot find the answer.
I am coming back to England next week to collect the alloy sheets for the bodywork.
Parker steel do a full 2.50x1.25x1.2mm sheet for £32.15
which is a lot cheeper than I could ever get it here in France..
Question is how many sheets do I need?
I am building the Chris Gibbs vertion.
I need enough to do all the bodywork panels, inc scuttle and interior.
Second question,
Any idea where I can get seemless tube from for the bones in the south east?
NOT Ringwood Engineering...
I've emailed Parker, but they take forever to answer..
Cheers David
I used 4 sheets for my ali clad MK (not including scuttle, this was GRP, also no internal trim panels, as wanted a chassis exposed inside).. Make sure
you get half hard. I also had mine with a plastic film on both sides to stop scratches (as some panels are visible from both sides as exposed
chassis).

I used 3 8'x4' sheets of ali for mine.
That included bonnet but not wings, scuttle or nose cone.
