My dad wants me to learn to service our vans (he wont let me do it unqualified ) which will save us about 2k per year, and said there were such
things as 'day release' courses where i can work where i am four days a week and spend the other one in the classroom.
Only problem is that i cant find any such courses. The only ones i can find are learn direct type courses and NVQ's.
Are there any such courses or has anyone done one?
contact your local technical collage as most do run such courses
either that or tell your old man to stuff it and fix the vans himself

or how about this...

Now, if it had been something useful like Media Studies or Outreach Diversity Gender Reassignment Awareness you would have had no problem.
Maybe ask a local garage if you can work one day a week for no money ?

try colleges.
technical collages will only teach you how to use scissors, coloured paper and glue in imaginative ways.

- the devaluation of the vehicles not having a garage stamp in the service book...?
