under arch protection

does anyone know of a good coating for underneath the fibreglass wheel arches to protect against stone cracks etc.
something light.

my last car had a light ribbed rubber stuck
inside seemed to work

CBS sell a kind of sticky gunk. I expect it is something like underseal....
