Windscreen lower scuttle seal

Anyone got a particularly nice way they’ve done this that looks nice from both the outside and the inside? I need to do it differently to how it was done before due to a new dash design. Last time all the black goo was hidden behind a trim panel but thats not there anymore and so need something good looking but that also will keep out the rain effectively.

Have you had a look through Woolies range of seals?

Maybe glue the rubber seal to the top of the scuttle to keep it in place and give a watertight seal, then fit a thin strip of closed cell foam to the bottom edge of the screen surround to allow for any movement/tolerance.
