carbon fibre plastic sheet for boot lid?

I'm currently re-doing my F27's boot and want to make a lockable boot lid for it,
I want to use a 3mm thick carbon fibre style plastic sheet for lightness, does anyone know where I can get some from? located Shrewsbury or can anyone recommend another alternative to the plastic sheet? had a 3mm thick ally sheet on before - way to heavy!!
cheers
Greg

I got mine from MNR because they do a conveniently boot lid sized piece. Places like CBS and europa are likely to sell it and eBay is probably a fair bet.

Got mine here. My dash, interior side panels, a set of temporary stone guards and two lots of aero screen supports cost me £50 to make.
