nosecone
I've got myself a shiny new Mk nosecone, but when in position there is about 5mm of top rail showing on each side at the front end. Is this normal ,
or does there need to be some "tinkering" ?
Cheers , Phil
ps currently in Spain -this has been bugging me !

I went downt to MK's this weekend to pick up my 6pc fibreglass kit (it's sat in the front room atm, wife's swearing at me).
I won't be 'near' the car until the weekend so I'll let you know my findings then.
(btw, the fibreglass kit is the latest addition to my website)

Called up to see my car last night (I'm building in a friends garage) and checked the nosecone, it does seem a little narrow but not by a lot,
didn't have time to mess with it but I imagine if you pull it out a bit at both sides it should be OK.

Just checked my MK nose cone... Flush.
Maybe its the way they come out of the moulds (or when they are taken out?).

Mine hangs over the top rail by a couple of mm each side, completely the opposite there then.
I guess its different suppliers, chassis came from MK as well so it matches up pretty well.

curing alters shape and
small diffs in each build
