Mounting aeroscreen

Hi

Has anyone got any pictures of how they've mounted their perspex aeroscreen without the use of the lip seen on many scuttles Mine is sans lip and therefore rather less obvious.

Hi Tim

I have the polycarbonate in a brown tint. It is 5mm thick and bullet proof so def complies with the MSA regulations. Usual method for mounting on a non lipped scuttle is a 2mm alloy strip bent to an angle of your choice with two bolts through the scuttle and two through the screen. You can have a section FOC if looking to do a driver only section. Apparently it's lighter and more aero to do just the driver but i prefer the look of a full width areo screen. a bit more Caterham JPS looking in design. Sorry no pics of screen mounted on non lipped cars though.

Cheers Matt
