Cycle wing stays

One of my stays has snapped on my tiger and the welding job was not successfull!

I here this is a common problem - is there an alternative to the rubbish tiger stay? I have seen some on Rally design however they dont seem to have anywhere to fix the wing to looking at the picture but i am probably missing something!!

A very common problem! A search will bring out lots of threads on this.

My solution can be found on my web pages ( [WWW] button below) - Look for the menu link for front wing stays. However, my fix is a 'marmite' thing - you either love it of hate it!

It does work VERY well though - zero wing flap.

Oh well, if you want pictures too...

The one in the last post was the one that got me started - my approach was different, but fair dues to the original inventor!

Does the Tiger use Cortina uprights?

Buy them from Procomp. Not expensive and fit-and-forget. In fact, the LA Gold uses Sierra uprights so they probably do them to suit too.
