any ideas on type
Afternoon all
I'm toying with an idea which will need a bearing to work well. It will sit in material that could be between 2-4mm thick.
I've found a photo of the kind of bearing I'm after, it will be thinner in the middle where the material is and be thicker either side to
keep it in place. I don't know if it comes in two halves but that would be best to ease assembly.

What kind of bearing would this be? and where could I find them. Alternatively if there is a better bearing type any advise much appreciated as
I'm clueless
Any help as always much appreciated

What you have posted isnt a bearing, its a pulley sheave like we use in sailing boats
Try harken, RWO, Holt, Ronstan etc.

told you I was clueless Basically I'm after something that can be press fitted from either side through a piece of metal and act as a bearing
to rotate around an m8 bolt.
It won't be subjected to hard punishement so even something plastic would do but I don't know where to start.
Maybe something off a push bike would do but I know nothing about them either

look around on http://simplybearings.co.uk/
I am sure I've seen bearing with an outer stepped sleeve that can be pressed in.

Thanks for all the assistance, at least I now know what the correct terminology is for what I'm looking for.
