powder coating

hi
i am looking to have my suspension arms powder coated and was wondering if anyone could recommend anywhere locally in north west region and roughly what sort of cost would it be?
initially i had the idea of painting them, so if they chipped, they could be touched up easier but have since been informed powder coating is the way to go
any advice appreciated
steve

I am having all my parts 2k painted, so if they chip its easy to touch in.

This includes all parts which are powder coated at present stripped (off the car), dipped and painted.

Theres a local place I use called Elite Engineering & Powder Coatings, its half a mile from the end of the M58 at switch Island, on Heysham Road, L30 6UR

Had quite a few bits done there over the last couple of years & would highly recommend them, really good service, excellent quality work, fast turn around and quite cheap rates too.

The boss is called John, give him a call on 0151 524 2838 and tell him Lee with the red MNR VortX gave you his number and he will sort you out no probs.

If you don't get the blasted before coating it is guaranteed to come off in sheets after a year or so.

Not sure who told you it was the way to go, it's just another way of putting a coating on, not better than painting with the correct paints (i.e not hammerite) and prep.
