Exoskeleton colour

I've just started welding up an exoskeleton chassis. What colour is the right colour to paint it? I think I should paint everything the same colour - wishbones, steering rack, pedal box, the whole thing. The choice that wouldn't make it look odd are black and silver. What do you all think?

There will have to be a pair of cycle wings and a fuel tank cover behind the seat (the donor scooter's tank is not lockable but has a lockable flap. I'll probably have a GRP dash to mount the instruments and switches too. A contrasting GRP colour is possible.

why not do a splatter affect, stand back and throw what ever apint you have at it with a brush. Then when you scratch it putting it together its will be a doddle to cover up...
