Aluminium panels

I'm about to order the aluminium to panel the sides of my car. Do you have to bend the aluminium over the top and bottom chassis rails or can you panel to the outer edge and fix with Pu adhesive?

AFAIK up to you mate.

Someone (Conrod?) once said the disadvantage of not putting a return on the top of the panel is that the sharp edge digs into your arm- but I'm not sure how serious that is!

bear in mind if you use the soap and blowtorch annealing method, the top will be a lot easier to fold over......
