i'd be tempted to say it was a type of cobra based on the original ac ace

there are a few cobras that follow more of the traditional lines...

From the look of the bonnet it was designed for a very small engine. It looks like a Berkeley prototype. Does it have a transmission tunnel or could it have been front wheel drive?

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Yup could be Berkeley! I think it could be late 50's-early 60's Fairthorpe or Rochdale, but not too sure.
IIRC they were based on the 'sit up and beg' Ford Pop E93A.

Here goes,

Ive spoken (emailed) with a few people & it seems that it is a mid/early 1950's body replacement for the Austin seven.

http://www.1950sspecials.com/home.htm

...is the place to go to, & look for info on the " Microplas Stiletto".

I saved it from the tip...but I'm passing it on (with luck) to sombody who will give it the love it needs (It's for sale) as I don't have the skill, time or money.

Thanks for all your help,

Steve.....

p.s. Remember this is part of KitCar heratage.......
