Cycle wing stays
Renewing my old cycle wings with new ones which will need new wing stays, I am eager to attempt and make my own, so before I start is there any chance
I could have some advise on material to use and fixings for the actual wings...... Some pics of you'res would be nice....

You should search for posts by David Jenkins on here. He has got the wing stay issue really sussed. See his site :-http://www.lathyrus.eu/.

That's cruel!
Although my system is near-enough 100% certain to prevent metal fatigue, it's not for the faint-hearted as it requires some lathe work. It does
work though!

It was having to carry my nearside wing home 2 or 3 times that made me do something more durable...

Although I am in awe of the engineering, those outer stays look awful!
