Mastic sealant.
Help me. I've got an mk Indy and need to strip it for a new roll cage and powder coating. Someone before me has used mastic to hold the rear
body work together. Any advice on removing the body work without damaging it? I'm guessing there isn't a way to do it without lots of
effort and swearing!
Thanks kev

I used some wire from MIG welder wrapped round two wooden handles, making a garote type thing, then sawed through the tigerseal. Works really well but
you need to get access to get the wire in the right place, take it slowly and steady. I managed to remove cycle wings from the brackets, the wire
snapped a few times but easy to make another one.
Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

I have purchased a windshield removal tool set from eBay. It works and is a lot faster than the Stanley blade but still slow going. Cheers guys.
