Half hood, up draught

Evening all, shmbo has made a half hood, fits well, we seem to be getting a lot off updraught in the car, has anybody else expericed this, we thought we would get less draughts with the hood on. Any thoughts please

A common issue with a seven ish type of car. The aerodynamics are such that a screen with sidescreens gives a much less draughty ride than a screen with just a roof. Can shmbo make sidescreens as well?

I agree, sidescreens make a massive difference. I made some out of polycarbonate and ali strip, hinged off the screen pillars. They work really well.

You may find that a pair of polycarbonate ‘elephant ears’ fitted either side of the screen will reduce it enough.
