Would it be SVA complient to completly checkerplate the inside of my locost? Also does any one know where i can get some?

Aluminium checkerplate is bloody expensive. The price alone would probably put you off.....

Chequer plate or tread plate is really a structural sheet, and as a result, is a bit coarse, and the thinest is only 1,6mm.
There is a sheet called propellor sheet, which looks similar, but as it's for decorative purposes, is much smoother, polished, and available in 0.9mm and 1.2mm thicknesses.
I'm not sure though if it's available in the UK. Try a search for aluminium sheet products.
