dont think sva covers ground clearance issues unless it was dragging on the ground! This concern is probably more for you with speed humps etc. What
clearance do you have rail to road?

well i run ground clearance rail/road at about 110mm.so your 60mm underhang would leave 50mm (half a kerb)

I don't know about specific design issues with low ride height, but you might have physical problems with the brake and speedo tests. Both of
which require the wheels to drop down onto the rollers.
I doubt the SVA man would be too impressed if as it rolled onto the rollers it got stuck / bottomed out?
I think the Ultima has some issues in this respect?

At SVA mine was judged too low to go in the rollers so they did a test outside with a decelorometer. Tester said was probably a good thing as the
results were borderline and it would probably have failed the rolling road.
Not that I'm happy the brakes being borderline but they seem OK for driving and as the disks and pads only had 30 miles on them they still need
bedding in. Something I will upgrade in the future.
I used to be apathetic but now I just don't care.
