Non-acetic silicone sealant

Anyone know of a brand of silicone sealnt that doesn't give off acetic acid as it sets? I know there are some water-based versions, but I don't know what they are called.

I want to seal up some body panels that will probably need to be removed at some time in the future, so I can't use PU.

cheers,
David

Can you get seam sealer in sqeezy tubes?
Im sure you will find most seam sealers and bonding stuff will have a decent grap when cured.
What about using the double sided foam tape?

Another option might be to run some masking tape down both sides of the join to limit the amount of sealer that is applied and cut only a small hole in the end of the tube for a small as poss bead and then run your finger along to remove excess.
PU can be removed with acetone (at least this is what ive been told). A small bead could be easily cut when you need to remove the panel as long is it doesnt get between the panels.

Have you seen the black automotive silicon (i think it is called RTV) - have a read of the tube in a motor factors. I think the tubes ive seen were Granville stuff.

What you want is low modulous silicone like Hilastic 44 by Fosroc or Dow Corning 781. Keyline or Jewson and ask for trade discount or they will take you. 44 should be 6quid and 781 about 4. The Fosroc is a big tube.
