Scuttle height

Chaps,

I started making my bonnett, and looking at the photos I've put in the archive, I'm wondering if my scuttle/bonnet look a little tall.

I shan't, of course, be doing anything about it, just wondering what you think!!

Cheers

Simon

Looks ok to me Simon. this is an area of construction that i have not reached yet.
Did you follow the "book" instructions regarding height. or just make it clear the engine.
On a separate note looking through your photos, I notice a pic of a cobra 7 seat, mounted on the passenger side.
It looks like it just fits.
since you are fitting a V8, i'm guessing your chassis is at least 4-6" wider than standard.
what worries me is that my chassis is standard width & i've also had to offset the tunnel , giving less room on the passenger side.
Just how wide is your passenger side as i also want to fit the same seats.

Cheers

Paul

Just had a look at the photos, the scuttle looks ok to me.
Have you widened the nose cone?

We are using a Luego locost (book size) chassis; Cobra Roadster & seats fit, a bit snug though.
