nose cone
i got a nose cone of ebay
caterham one won't fit my locost
book built chassis? is to narrow alot to narrow?
any ideas?

er i dont think so,
wish this forum had a smiley for in you dreams
have now discovered that my light bar maybe to far back so nose needs to be foward which may allow me to use it anyway.

Martin I have an original caterham one, it wont fit a standard book chassis without some chopping about ! but thats easy ta do !

As you have found out, a Caterham nose is too narrow for the Locost chassis. Been there, found that out the hard way. I sold mine on, but they can
be modified.
For anyone else buying second-hand nose cones, look for "Westfield" or "Locost" in the item descriptions!

i have a wide wesfield body on my car fits a nice see my pics ive got a yellow nose and bonnet spare if you are interested. I also have a new locost
nose cone, bonnet boot and rear arches that will be going on ebay soon. If you want any dims for reference ill be happy to help.

I have added about 6 inches onto my rear wings and have taken some pics that I’ll put on my archive, very easy to do.
