windscreen struts

Hi
I have got 2 brandnew windscreen struts that i want to fix to my MK.
I notice the old ones have a bend just above the triangle section so that it all fits fluch to the body.
Can someone suggest a way of bending these without damaging them ( they are quite nice)
these are them

I did my Tiger ones on my old car by clamping them between two pieces of wood in my vice below where i wanted the bend and another couple of pieces of wood in some large G-clamps above. Used the lengths of the wood as a lever to manually bend as required.

Hi
thanks for the reply.
It sounds a bit heath Robinson! just sandwich between 2 bits of wood and pull, is it acurate enough?
