What would look best ?
My engine stands tall in the chassis.
What would look better
1) standard height body work with a buldge ie avon style.
2) Taller body with no buldge ie Panther style.
Your opinions please

What about bulge but a long bulge with an open end to let the hot air out. Make a nice feature of it.

Macspeedys Indy bonnet looks like a nicer solution. (Currently for sale).
If you can hide a Pinto under there after all...

you can only hide a pinto under an MK bonnet when it's on MK 14" side panels.
ok, you can probably do it in a locost if you drop the engine a bit more, but it's not neccessarily a guaranteed solution.
the MK bodywork's the best styling imo, but i like the overall proportions of an avon, or avoneer's bitsablade (locost with MK GF) for
instance.
i say stay as low as you can with as tasteful a bulge as you can
