Designing an aeroscreen
Is there any theory to how to come up with the design of an aeroscreen?
I have seen a few, some bubble type and others which are rather just flat. Since I would like to design my own is there any guide to use in
inclination angles of the screen? Is the bubble type any more efficient?
As for materials I was going to use 4mm perspex is there any guide how to go about bending it?
Thanks

You just have to try things out.
A simple 1" piece of lexan sticking up might work, but so might a full bubble screen.

Bending perspex
Bending is easy if you can find an oven big enough to heat the perspex to 180C, then you've got about a minute to drape the soft sheet over your
mould. I know someone who is doing just that (using a powder coater's oven) to make complex aeroplane canopies. In theory you could have several
goes at this, i.e return to oven if it's not right first time.
Has any one tried to make Staniforth's air blast screen work?
