GRP or Aluminum or SS ?

I'm at the stage of contemplating which type of scuttle / bonnet / rear panel etc to buy. What are the advantages / disadvantages of the three types?
Who's the best supplier?
Can you mix and match - or is it best to go all GRP or all Ali etc etc?
