Best Adhesive

What's the best GRP adhesive?

Sikaflex 292 ???

I'm wanting to join some stressed body panels together, so thought about bonding the overlapping parts and then glassing over all edges.

Well, Polyester resin is quite sticky stuff, and if you used it there wouldn't be any compatability issues

I'd use gelcoat to stick panels together - sikaflex will be a bit flexible .

^^^^^^^^^^^^ I agree

Any movement will just crack the bond line - use resin and do the job permanently.

Just use the same resin as you are going to do the glassing with.

If you don't already have some, then ask the suppliers for a recommendation
