Protecting brake lines from tarnishing?
Whilst waiting on DVLA to authorise plates, I polished all the copper brake lines today
Any good tips on how to keep them from tarnishing? brush on lacquer? wax?

If/when I get round to building something, I intend to use heat shrink tubing on things like brake and fuel lines. I have no idea what will last long
enough to be worth applying wax or lacquer wise.

If you use heatshinrk on the brakelines does that trap any moisture that could corrode the pipe?
I believe you can actually get stainless/chrome hose... should you so wish

you have far too much time on your hands
I think you'll find tarnished copper lines work just as well as polished ones.
